There's a strong argument to be made that it's very important to get to the target quickly and get a hit - any hit - very quickly. This is true. I realized that it is better to slow down and find the center than to miss too quickly. That doesn't mean he can't be hit quickly; it takes practice.

The judge upholds the claim by issuing a weapons charge. The .410 Channel is no powerhouse, but when loaded correctly - and that's the key - it offers a decent defensive option. Surprisingly, my research shows that Judge Taurus can be useful for protection against predators in close proximity. My test is probably the most common Judge (there are many options), a steel pistol with a 3.0 inch barrel.

A compact and smoothbore pistol that fires illegal cartridges, the .410 and .45 Colt is as close as ever to the development and production of cartridges for the .410 and .45 Colt cartridges. There is a gun, but it is a bit small.

As with all double decks, the judges are easy to execute. Open the barrel, load the chamber and pull the trigger to fire. No sliding on the shelves and safety during operation. A Review Of The Taurus Judge Revolver

The Federal load is advertised at 750 fps, but it actually tops out at 800 fps in the Judge. The total cargo was 292 grains. Winchester offers a PDX load with a total capacity of over 300 grains, as well as three flat discs and a BB Shot load. With this load, the pattern is usually large (about 16 inches by 15 feet) and the disc hits the center of the target.

The Hornady .410 defensive load features a .41 caliber bullet followed by two round balls. The slug usually moves right into the target's eye and the ball bounces around the center. It is important to line up the shot on a paper target to see how the shot will spread at 5 to 10 yards.

In my opinion, 7 yards is the outer limit for these loads, although the Hornady Slug and its FTX design can be useful beyond that. Bottom line, shot, and specialty loads are useful for home defense and close range defense against predators. Tests placed in water bottles and wet newspapers show that these loads will cause serious injuries.

Animals can punch a hole in a six-inch gallon jug, and a gun will go through a second jug, but very little. The Federal shell is a 2 ½-inch and 4-ball OOO up to 24 inches that can fit 18 inches into the gelatin. This is very good.

The Winchester PDX loader has a better design. However, the three drives in PDX offer a 3×4 pattern by 15 feet. The larger model is made with 12 BBs. The Hornady FTX slug is up to 15 inches from this car, with two round balls providing a range of 3 to 5 inches at 15 feet.

These large loads should give negative results on a 15 foot by 21 foot, 7 yard wide magnet. It is better that for a room or a bedroom. The umpire needs to be focused, but the image spreads out to help the shot 10-15 feet. This gun is not effective beyond 21 feet and the weight of the gun.

Another option is to load the Judge with .45 Colt bullets. To comply with federal firearms and ammunition laws, the Judge is a .45 Colt revolver capable of firing .410 cartridges. The trunk is shot. The long jump of the .45 Colt bullet from the chamber to the barrel seems to limit both velocity and accuracy. In some cases, this is true. However, my recent research has shown that this loss is not always what we think.

The Judge has enough power for the heaviest loads, including SWC ammunition. It depends on how much tolerance you have. A good choice for personal defense is Hornady Critical Defense. This 185 grain bullet has a good reputation for expansion and head. A velocity of 891 fps forms the three-inch barrel of the Taurus Judge. The retreat is modest. This load hits the target position. At 15 yards, five shots from a steady prone position produced a 3-inch group. This is especially true of personal protective equipment.

Verdict: Taurus Public Defender Review

Another option to consider is the Winchester PDX 225-grain JHP. This load provides a top speed of 780 fps. The weight of the bullet gives it more energy. The .45 Colt is one of the few handguns that performs well without increasing ammo. This was proven in the Old West and in many interpretations since then.

A good choice is the Winchester 255-grain lead bullet. This bullet leaves the referee at 770 fps. (And 778 fps from a hand-held 4 ¾-inch revolver for comparison.) The throw is about 18 inches, which is good for self-defense, but the recoil is weak. It is also an accurate load with a range of 3 inches and 15 yards. If a Judge owner relies on a long gun, the .45 Colt offers a guaranteed hit without high recoil.

The Judge is a special gun. This is not a machine gun - not at all. But what is done is good. It's worth your time to explore Judge.
