Savage 64 22 - The Savage Model 64 Series is a semi-automatic .22 LR rifle manufactured by Savage Arms of Canada. It uses a simple blowback mechanism. It is marketed to shooters, small game hunters, and budget shooters. It is one of the most popular hunting rifles in the United States due to its accuracy, use of the popular and inexpensive .22 long rifle cartridges, and low cost.

It was first introduced as the Kooi Model 64 and hit the market in 1964. The gun was designed by Hubert Cooy and was based on the design of the Model 39.

In 2019, Savage designed a variant of the Model 64 designed for easy disassembly and reassembly. This type is called the Model 64 Takedown. The Model 64 Takedown is available in black with a synthetic finish. It comes in a twist-pressed box for wide piles. The Model 64 Takedown is manufactured at Savage's facility in Canada.
